CAS provides cargo security screening services and unarmed guard access control for any persons entering the secured cargo areas at seven CAT X airports. The level of screening performed is at the standards established by TSA’s Model Security Program (MSP); the All-Cargo International Screening Program (ACISP) and the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP). Primary tasks include verifying credentials of anyone seeking entry onto the secure area of the airport; and screen air cargo using X-ray technology; Explosive Trace Detection (ETD), or physical search techniques.
CAS is teamed with Lufthansa and Smiths Detection at John F. Kennedy (JFK), Chicago-O’Hare (ORD), Boston-Logan (BOS), Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW), Dulles (IAD), Newark-Liberty (EWR), and Philadelphia (PHL). This team can provide security screening and equipment, and training solutions.
